Herbert Hall is an Investment Banking consultant with over twenty years experience in the finance field.
He specializes in debt refinancing & restructuring, capital raises (debt, quasi equity and equity), mergers and acquisitions as well as off balance sheet financing.
Herbert served as the Head of Investment Banking for Jamaica and the Northern Caribbean for one of the Caribbean’s leading investment banking houses.
He is a trained economist and held the post of Monetary Economist with the Central Bank of Jamaica.
He is also an approved Mentor for companies seeking to list/ are listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market.
Herbert has been at the forefront of structuring and arranging some of the Caribbean’s largest and most complex capital market deals including equity transactions such as (a) the historic sale of the Govemment of Jamaica’s majority shares in the country’s first toll road via the largest public offering
(b) the initial public offering of one of Jamaica’s leading manufacturer and distributor of food and beverage products (c) the secondary offer and cross listing of the Caribbean’s largest property fund on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (d) the reintroduction of the Caribbean’s largest general & life insurer to the Jamaica Stock Exchange (e) the largest private debt raises in Jamaica’s history for Jamaica’s largest financial conglomerate. He has also led a number of large private debt transactions for both government, quasi-government and corporate clients including financial institutions.
