STRATEGY & INNOVATION ANALYST
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Cumax Wealth Management Limited (a subsidiary of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Limited {JCCUL}), is seeking to recruit an experienced Strategy and Innovation Analyst with a keen eye for interpreting complex data, adaptable and able to work with cross-functional teams.
The Role:
Under the general direction of the Strategy and Innovation Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that drive growth, operational efficiency and innovation. He/she will assist in shaping and executing Cumax Wealth Management’s business strategy, for long-term growth Objectives in order that Cumax achieves its Mission, Vision and Major Targets in a sustainable manner. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to inform strategic planning.
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models to support business case development.
- Analyze internal performance data and identify areas for optimization.
- Assist with managing project execution of strategic initiatives from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Track the implementation of solutions geared at improving operational processes to enhance business efficiency and reduce costs to income ratios.
- Assist with the implementation process for new products or services including documentation and processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Portfolio Management, etc.), on strategic initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Operations or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Certification in Change Management would be an asset.
- Three (3) years of experience in strategy, operations, project management, or business innovation.
Knowledge, Skills, Competences and Personal Attributes:-
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Sound knowledge of financial products and services
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent networking, interpersonal and human relations skills.
- Experience with business process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and storytelling with data.
